(AEP) AEP-1. La habilidad para diseñar e implementar sistemas mecatrónicos de acuerdo a las necesidades tecnológicas y sociales del entorno. 

AEP-2. La habilidad para automatizar y dar mantenimiento a sistemas mecánicos utilizando tecnologías eléctricas y electrónicas, así como herramientas computacionales. 

AEP-3. La habilidad de evaluar y generar proyectos industriales y sociales. 

AEP-4. La habilidad de liderazgo para resolver problemas y desarrollar proyectos preservando un sentido crítico y autocrítico. 

AEP-5. La habilidad para interpretar información técnica relacionada con la Ingeniería Mecatrónica para la aplicación e innovación de tecnologías de vanguardia.
